Undergraduate Applications:

•             E-Application Form (Ready within the system)

•             Academic reference letter (optional)

•             Motivation Letter (optional)

•             High School Diploma and Transcripts

•             Passport Scan

•             One of the universally-accepted English Language proficiency examinations result if available (TOEFL or Cambridge ESOL or Pearson’s Academic). IELTS is invalid due to State Higher Education Council of Turkish Republic Legislation effective from 01.07.2016 

•             If exists, one of the results of “SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test), “A-Level  or “IB ( International Baccalaureate)

Master’s Degree Applications:

•             E-Application Form (Ready within the system)

•             At least one academic or professional reference letter

•             Motivation Letter

•             Undergraduate Degree Diploma and Transcripts 

•             Passport Scan

•             One of the universally-accepted English Language proficiency examinations result if available (TOEFL or Cambridge ESOL or Pearson’s Academic). IELTS is invalid due to State Higher Education Council of Turkish Republic Legislation effective from 01.07.2016 

•             If requested from the department (mentioned within the application system) GRE or GMAT result

PhD Applications: 

(All PhD candidates should have a background of a 4-years bachelor degree and 2-years master’s degree with thesis. Bachelor degrees of 2-years are counted as an associate degree (pre-bachelor) and could not give way to any master’s degree thus a PhD degree, either.)

      •       E-Application Form (Ready within the system)

       •     At least one academic or professional reference letter

       •     Motivation Letter

       •     Undergraduate Degree Diploma and Transcripts and Master Degree Diploma and Transcripts

      •     Passport Scan

       •      PhD Proposal 

       •     One of the universally-accepted English Language proficiency examinations result if available (TOEFL or Cambridge ESOL or Pearson’s Academic). IELTS is invalid due to State Higher Education Council of Turkish Republic Legislation effective from 01.07.2016 

       •     If requested from the department (mentioned within the application system) GRE or GMAT result. Most thesis based programs do require GRE/GMAT exam. 

Graduates without thesis before 06.02.2013 can apply to the doctorate program including project based graduates; However after 6th of February 2013, graduates without thesis cannot apply to doctorate program. 

ALL PhD applications MUST have a GRE/GMAT exam AND TOEFL exam. Master and Bachelor Degree seeking students are eligible to take Yasar Universities FLAT (Foreign Language Aptitude Test).
